If you are thinking of renting a bungalow in the Pyrenees, the Balandrau Bungalow is an excellent choice. Completely new and made of wood, it features an outdoor terrace and stunning views of the Vall de Ribes. Located on top of a hill, the views are spectacular. The road is below, so the few cars that pass by are barely noticeable. Ideal for anyone wishing to visit Vall de Núria, either on foot or by the Cremallera Train, as well as the Taga or Puigmal.
It has a fully equipped kitchen, central heating, bathroom with shower, TV, and sofa bed. The number of rooms and beds varies depending on the capacity of each accommodation:
- 2-person Balandrau: open-plan room with a large bed and a sofa bed.

4-person Balandrau: one bedroom with a large bed and a single bed, and a shared living area with a single bed and a sofa bed.

6-person Balandrau: one bedroom with a large bed and a single bed, one bedroom with a trundle bed, and a shared living area with a single bed and a sofa bed.
All beds come with their own blanket, as well as pillows with clean pillowcases. If more people arrive than the accommodation’s capacity, you will need to bring additional blankets and pillows.
The Balandrau Bungalow does not allow pets.
The kitchen includes basic equipment such as glasses, cups, cutlery, plates, a pot, a frying pan, a small saucepan, scissors, salad bowl, colander, matches, Oroley coffee maker, etc. More complex appliances like a toaster or blender are not included. A basic cleaning kit is provided for approximately two days.
All personal hygiene items are the guest’s responsibility. However, two rolls of toilet paper are provided in case you forget them upon arrival.
Please note that accommodations do not provide bed linen or towels (you can bring your own or rent them at reception for €6 per double bed set, €5 per single bed set, and €2.50 per towel). Check-in time is guaranteed from 4:00 PM.
Our campsite is ideal for anyone seeking absolute tranquility, free from noise pollution with excellent air quality. Perfect for those who wish to hike Puigmal, Vall de Núria, or Ulldeter.
Vall de Ribes, located in the axial Pyrenees, is a natural sub-region of Ripollès and occupies its northwestern end. It borders Conflent and Cerdanya to the north, and Berguedà to the west. Its boundaries follow the border ridge with France, from Puigmal (2911 m) to Puig de Bastiments (2883 m), passing Segre Peak (2843 m), Finestrelles Peak (2828 m), Puig d’Eina (2789 m), Noufonts Peak (2861 m), Noucreus Peak (2799 m), and Infierno Peak (2869 m). It includes the Núria, Pardines, and Toses valleys and is part of the extensive Ter river basin, with the Freser and Núria rivers as tributaries.
The significant height of the peaks has created steep slopes, through which the hydrographic network has carved deep gorges such as the Freser and Núria gorges; the latter are especially attractive due to their length of over 3 km, until the river joins the Freser. This explains the historically difficult access to the Núria sanctuary.
